This post simply marks a milestone. With the exception of two Soundgarden CDs that escaped the cull because they were in my car, I donated my CD collection to charity yesterday. I had already moved my entire music collection into the cloud by storing it on iTunes Match, Google Play and Zettabox some time ago. I use three services for resilience and iTunes Match primarily because I use Apple products at home.

Amazon are back-filling their customer music clouds with digital versions of albums on their AutoRip programme, so I have another cloud filling up with music that I have already purchased.

The cloud is where my music will live for the foreseeable future.
