## Background

Previously studied Russian, Dutch and French. Worked at Interoute in IT and Systems between 2001 and 2015. Interoute built the largest pan-European fibre network, also providing IT and hosting services.

## Current Work
- Runs the Tezos Foundation baking (validating) infrastructure
- Runs the Tezos Foundation boot nodes and snapshot service (snapshots.tzinit.org)
- Maintains and publishes Octez (Tezos node, baker, DAL node, smart rollup) packages for Debian, Ubuntu and Rocky Linux, distributed via Tzinit (packages.tzinit.org)
- Runs the test networks for Tezos (teztnets.com)
- Writes practical how-to guides covering Tezos node setup, baking, the DAL, smart rollups, and Etherlink rollup nodes
- Publishes cloud/hardware deployment guides for Tezos infrastructure (Google Cloud Platform, Raspberry Pi)
- Currently writing a book on Tezos infrastructure, hopefully finished in 2026
