I took a day off the diet yesterday. We went out on the promise of pie and mash but didn't manage to get to London. We ended up in Upminster for a quick pint in the taproom, followed by fish and chips. It's probably for the best as I'm not travelling particularly well at the moment. However, for the first time in four weeks I've managed to get a T-shirt on properly. I still can't tie my shoelaces but I'm making progress at least!

The weight has gone up overnight as expected but it isn't a disaster. I'm having another break today before resuming normal operations tomorrow. I'm got to finish 4 units of the teaching course: door shut, coffee on and press on.
