Signet 2 - Overview
In this video, I talk about the development from scratch of a wallet for Tezos. At the moment, the wallet is Mac only.
You can get it here: http://github.com/drchrispinnock/signet
…but note it is alpha software and you should probably only use it on test networks. You can use it on Shadownet and Bakingnet. You can also create a tz5 key and use it on Tezos’s post-quantum test network quantumnet.
I have not written a single line of code. Claude has written the code. ChatGPT/Codex has audited the code and made some changes too.
It’s written in Swift. I’ve never really written any Swift - any code I’ve written has been in BBC BASIC, 6502 assembler, Perl or Go.
I started this project from scratch on Monday 5th October. This is how far I’ve got. I’ve probably invested 24 hours of my time in it. The AI has done the work.
Also, standing on the shoulders of giants - this uses the Taquito and Octez Connect/Beacon libraries, also referencing the work on Octez. These do a lot of the work underneath. Kudos to the teams working hard on Tezos.
